- Inspect starting issue. Key turns normally but engine does not crank. There is a light clicking noise coming from the engine when in the start position. Confirm the starter solenoid is clicking during cranking position, however engine is not cranking. Check power to starter during symptom. Power to starter is okay. Test results indicate a failed starter motor. Recommend replacement. Also recommend cleaning of positive battery terminal.
- STARTER ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – Gas
- Clean battery of residual acid. Remove cables and clean mating surfaces. Remove excess corrosion from exterior portions of cable ends. Apply corrosion resistive protectant to terminals. Check battery capacity.
