AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID – INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL – INSPECT BRAKE HOSES & LINES – INSPECT – [Check the master cylinder and VSA modulator-control unit for damage and leakage.] DRIVESHAFT/PROPELLER SHAFT DUST BOOTS – INSPECT – [Check boots for cracks and boot bands for tightness.] ENGINE COOLANT – INSPECT – [Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir. Make sure it is between the MAX mark and the MIN mark. If the coolant level in the coolant reservoir is at or below the MIN mark, add coolant to bring it up to the MAX mark, then inspect the cooling system for leaks.] EXHAUST SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Check catalytic converter heat shields, exhaust pipes, and muffler for damage, leaks, and tightness. NOTE: According to state and federal regulations, failure to do this maintenance item will not void the customer's emissions warranties.
