    • Road test. PS noisy at start up but for better when warm. Drives ok. Check fluid level. Ok but fluid is black. Check for leaks. Found return line that runs along RH subframe rotted and leaking. Recommend replacing line and getting good clean fluid in system first. May still need a pump but we should do this first.
    • Replace power steering line. Bleed system and flush out bad fluid. Purge air. Note: some noise in morning may be present for a few days as the remaining air is purged.

    • Inspect 4wd. 4 hi light is flashing. No 4wd engagement. Customer has replaced transfer case actuator. Check tcase mode. Now in 2wd. Remove actuator cover and attempt to extract rear. Rear is bound up inside. This suggests transfer case rod is bound internally. Needs internal transfer case inspection and repair.
